When first time I read this thread at Photo Malaysia I was wondering.. Who is Louis Pang?… Seriously, there’s tons of photographers out there and some of them claim to be really professional. But what Louis did was good, he posted some of his works in there and the only think I can tell is WOW!!! what amazed me was not the photos (that’s a lie…hehehe) but how he turned his models from ordinary looking person to someone really pleasant on photos.. which comes to skill on directing and getting the best angle.. Maxis iPhone Roadshow

April 13, 2009

I was at Mid Valley for the Big Blue Exhibition and never thought would come across another event. As all Malaysian mobile phone users know, recently Maxis just officially launched Apple iPhone 3G.

It got some mix reactions from every corners, but I don’t really understand Malaysian. When the phone is not selling here they complaint, when it selling here officially they also complaint. If people compare it with any jail break iPhone it is still cheaper plus warranty that you get. Also, next time you can update your iPhone without jail breaking it.

For me it’s very tempting, but for the time being I think I better channel my interest and investment towards my photography..I will wait for the iPhone 3.0…

Big Blue Exhibition

April 13, 2009

Today as usual I woke up very early and went for my normal jogging routine. I came back and my daughter caught me at the door and straightaway reminded me about this event called Big Blue. Seriously, she been bugging me for the past 2 weeks regarding this exhibition and she managed to made me excited about it. This type of exhibition is good for everyone regardless your age group. It’s very educational and here I would like to thank National Geographic, Astro, Malaysia Nature Society, Samsung and Mid Valley Megamall for this wonderful event.

Big Blue Replica

This is just the Big Blue Baby replica… Wow!!! that’s the biggest baby I’ve seen

F1 2009 Malaysia

April 13, 2009

Yup… I was there at one of the most disappointing race for 2009 season. Being an avid F1 supporter since my childhood I  was lucky to watched Greats such as Aryton Senna, Alain Prost, Nigel Mansell, Nelson Piquet and no to forget Michael Schumacher. Since Shumacher retired from the race I really don’t have anyone I really admire in F1. So frankly, I don’t really support any team for this 2009 season. But what the Brawn’s team did at Australia really impressed me and I believe it’s good for the sport. The most disappointing part, this was the first time I attended F1 race and I managed to watched few laps before race steward called it off. With me on that day was my beloved D300, 70-210mm, 50mm and 18-105mm lenses.  I managed to get some shots before rain started heavy and I really don’t think it’s worth risking my baby…hehehe
